Land and Freedom Festival in Verroia

It was with great pleasure that we shared the political thinking of Carlos Taibo with the audience gathered at the “Land and Freedom” Festival, in Parnonas, on the 5th of August. The renowned professor’s dialogue with the public was facilitated by Anthi Kosma, Dimitris Lamprinos from ajugar.gr, Georgia Anargyrou and Dina Tyrovola from Yourtranslator, who interpreted to and from Spanish and to French and English. Local considerations blended productively with international ones thanks to the presence of an international audience and to the invaluable contribution of the interpreters! The discussion focused on the idea of degrowth and the current situation in Greece and Spain.

Fue un placer compartir las reflexiones políticas de Carlos Taibo con los asistentes al Festival “Land and Freedom” (Tierra y Libertad) en Parnonas, el 5 de agosto. El discurso del profesor Taibo y su dialogo con el publico fueron interpretados por Anthi Kosma, Dimitris Lamprinos de ajugar.gr, Georgia Anargyrou y Dina Tyrovola de Yourtranslator. Las preocupaciones locales se intercambiaron de forma productiva con las del ámbito internacional, gracias a la presencia de un público internacional y a la ayuda de los intérpretes. El tema del evento fue el decrecimiento y la situación actual en Grecia y España.
